Glamis meet??

me? Pismo. When i go south i usually go Ocotillo/Superstition

I'll be fully gear 4x4 so no need for paddles

Glamas is the shit, you can make it out in a prerunner to some places. Just don't get crazy ,air down, and don't let off the gas. Its all about how you drive.
I will be down for a holiday weekend stay in the dunes.
Don't forget you do need desert passes at the dunes.

 

well if you had sand tires it would make even better. But with 4x4 you could get away with it. WOuld need to air down to like 12-15 psi

 

yea. Unless you put a supercharger on tht bitch with paddles. the sand is really soft.

 

you can get the passes online or at the arco station about 35 miles away from glamis if you are coming from la area. Not sure about from az.

 

We can get them from Ride Now powersports.. that's where i get mine.

I usually cruise around in 2hi locked and aired down.. gwt around fine.. then switch to 4wd when needed or want to go play In the dunes or the drags.

He'll be fine. Stay on the skinny pedal, air down, and don't stop on inclines, crests, and sometimes even flat areas. lol

I never got stuck, but then again if it got even close to that, I switched to 4.. lol

 

I will be there for sure on Thanksgiving, Wednesday-Sunday. The area we camp is heaven for prerunning, very little dust, 10 mins from Olds and you can see the drags from camp and no I dont camp on Gecko

Complete opposite side, over by the canal and generally not another camp within 1/2 mile of us

You would be fine, I wouldnt go by yourself but if you went with a group that has been there you are fine with 2wd
