I have a 03 Taco with a 2.7L. I am looking for an exhaust system that will give it a nice throaty rumble but not be too loud or sound like a fart can. Suggestions? Cherry Bomb? Flowmaster?

Glass packs on a small engine sound like ass imo. Tha not enough exhaust to fill the pipe, sounds like fire crackers in a tin can.

Do it. There's examples on YouTube to listen to. I wouldn't go bigger than the stock piping as the glass packs are straight through. I've got a 3" Cherry Bomb with a header flange that'll bolt onto my 3" down pipe on my built Vdub. One day I'll get around to finishing that project.

Yeh. I just don't want a fart can. Does flow master have any "moderate" sounding mufflers?

I have a flowmaster on my 2.7L and like the sound. It doesn't sound like a tin can. I think its a flowmaster 40

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I have a Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow, its pretty moderate. Not super loud but if you get on it you know it's there for sure. Here's a clip, listen with good headphones or a speaker system with decent sub.
