I'm looking at purchasing a Glock 43. Does anyone own one and where do you keep it in your Taco? Paying $400 with 2 magazines, not a bad price.

You live in a 'free' state ... anything at or below msrp is a good price.

Come to California and you'll pay $800 for the same gun

When driving I put mine with the holster clipped onto the tray on the underside of my dash but I have a 2nd gen. I can draw it and the holster stays. No hang ups or anything. Easy access too while driving should the need arise. Do the 3rd gens have that tray still?

Wondering the same, thinking of making a small bracket to the left of the shifter so I can clip my Tulster there while driving. Otherwise it's on my person.

That is not a bad price at all, I purchased a Glock 43 for my truck as well.

There are a few threads on here already with some really awesome ideas and pics.

I purchased a magnet and installed in just to the right of my right leg, about shin high on the plastic under the steering wheel column. Stick on when driving, pull it off and conceal when not. No one can see it or reach it other than me!

OMG 9mm!?!? Might as well keep it in the skirt you let your truck wear.

Is that a Operator 1911? I have the Loaded model. Its my primary home defender besides a combat shotgun stuffed with magnum buck shot.

Yes, it has the bull barrel, night sights, and the crazy sandpaper grips along with pin needle front grip checkering.

I wish the loaded model had front grips and a rail. Other than that this will be a family heirloom.

I keep a Ruger American 45 under the seat. I'm not allowed to carry at work so I need to keep it in my truck during working hours. My other conceal weapon is a Springfield Mod2 45. Home defense, Ruger 1911, Colt 10mm officer's model, S&W 500, Desert Eagle and Ruger a SR9c.

Have you considered the Glock 26? It's about the same size but you get more round capacity and you have options to use different magazines. I have the 43 but wish I have the 26 a look before purchasing

I had a G43, but it was not for me. I liked my G26 G4 much better. Don't get me wrong, a great gun, just was not for me. Have you looked into the Alien Gear ShapeShip system? That comes with a mounting holster as well as an IWB and OWB attachments.

    IWB Concealed Carry Holster
    Appendix IWB Concealed Holster
    Belt Slide OWB CCW Holster
    OWB Paddle Holster
    FREE Holster Mount.

There is a video in there as well showing the system. I have several alien gear holsters, and IMO, they are very well made and offer the free trade to a different shell if you were to ever get rid of that particular firearm.
