I was thinking more about why I like the XD trigger over the Glock trigger. I think it's because my XD trigger is flat, so I know I need to get out in front of it and pull straight back. This leads to no slop or play with the trigger safety, straight back and it's off.

With the Glock, it's much more rounded so I tend to "short" it and come at it from a 45 degree angle and roll into it. The problem is this tends to cause the Glock trigger safety to push against the trigger itself and the friction sometimes causes me to pull the trigger back before the safety is disengaged. Then when I roll into it with the finger, the safety releases and that's what causes the shot to break.

I realize this is a user issue and I could overcome it with training, but it is an issue for me nonetheless, therfore I tend to appreciate the flat XD trigger much more.
