    Thanks!
My duty weapon is .40 S&W, 9mm is a little easier to shoot quickly but I prefer .40, a buddy brought a G20 by the range and I enjoyed shooting it, the long slide and red dot (once I get one for this gun) should be pretty easy and fun to shoot.

I've got a gen 4 34 with the finger grooves. On that pistol, they fit me perfectly. The other Glocks I've got don't have grooves and I like it that way. Honestly, the 20sf is probably the easiest to shoot and hit what I want with, followed by the 42. Although, the 34 is pretty darn close.

never been too big of a fan of stippling but this is pretty cool adding a little emblem to it! honestly never seen this before so it's pretty unique.

fwiw, my duty gun is an RTF2 so never felt the need to stipple, but i could see if it had the standard Glock grips.

Not just standard grip, gen 3 with those finger things that never fit my hand right.

Added a milled slide with silver barrel..

Nice. You mentioned correct screws for the mounting plate. Did you use the Traxxas 2550 screws?

My state has an exemption of the background check if you have your enhanced carry permit (8 hour course on top of the $100 to get a permit) but having a department ID doesn’t do anything for you
Since I was covered by LEOSA before I left I never bothered getting my carry permit.

I called Vortex and told them I needed the correct screws to mount my Vortex Venom on my Glock and they sent them to me no charge.

Lots of LGS's in IL don't bother with looking at what they can do for you, they just hold for 72hrs. I had one who adamantly refused to give me a rifle I bought 5 days beforehand, insisting the law stated that it was 3 days from background check clearing. When I pulled up the law stating that 72hrs began from purchase, they changed tune and said it was their policy. I came back 3 days later, grabbed my rifle, and never returned. Fuckem.

i've been in about the same position with the LGS i'm trying to deal with again... last time i transferred one in, and since i didn't need it right away i didn't disclose my LEO credentials... thing is, i came back 76 hours later to pick it up, and they said the state hadn't approved it yet and to come back tomorrow. this went on until about day 9 when i finally lost my patience and went it to pick it up. they claimed STATE LAW said it needed approved before they could release. i kindly informed them that the 4473 form states the state has 72 hours to deny the purchase, and after that the LGS may release. they quickly changed their tune and said it was actually store policy. that's when i decided to show them my LEO credentials and the tune changed again when "someone in the back made a quick call and got me approved"... whatever, i walked out with it at that point but it shouldn't have come to that. told myself i'd never buy from them again. well, i guess i should've listened to myself!

So here is the million dollar Glock question.

Anyone upgrade their trigger? Is so what did you go with.

Prefer to stay with the a 3 to 3.5 pull, but shorter rest and smoother action.

or should I just rework the stock trigger.

Everyone told the trigger would smooth out once I got a bunch of rounds through it. It is about 4 yrs old
some where north of 1800 rnds, still feels like gravel.

I went with the Zev fulcrum adjustable kit. Nice smooth pull to the wall then nice break with shot reset.
