Does anyone have a gen 3 9mm trigger housing they'd be willing to sell? That is the only thing that is apparently sold out literally everywhere online

Just took a few mins to swap out the trimmed 3.5 connector in my play toy , pulled a factory unmarked connector outta the parts bin and polished it . Going back to the firm wall for a bit for shits-n-gigs. Snapped a poser pic

    What is the difference between a Gen5 G17 and a Gen5 G17 MOS?

Is the only difference the slide - the ability to mount an electronic sight?

I assume it is, but want to make sure.

You are correct. The MOS has a milled area to accept the optic mounting plate.

Nice I like that. I think that would be great on my 17L but I want to keep it somewhat stock for now. I'd do it to my 35 but I should really sell that gun for a 17 and build it out like yours. Have you shot it with/without the comp to tell the difference? Do you have to "time" the comp or anything? Ugh. I guess I could always build out a 9mm upper for the 35 lol. Anyway I missed the boat on the 6 sec mount otherwise I'd have bought one just cuz.

The Carver mount goes on and off easily , you won’t be modifying the gun permanently.

The comp makes a huge difference . Granted this is a 40s&w... the effect on barrel rise won’t be as drastic with a 9mm . As it sits now the hotter the load I run through it the flatter the gun runs . Recoil wasn’t an issue for Me with the gun stock , but now if I run a 155 @1250 the barrel doesn’t rise off target more than a hair , you can feel the comp pushing down and the gun staying flat . Works well shooting your dot fast , dot basically wiggles around the target if your grip is good .

Timing your comp .. no I didn’t need to worry with it . It’s screwed on as far as it can without effecting the tilting of the barrel
