The selling point for me was the quick charging port. That way I don’t have to remove it from the weapon to charge it and I can leave it on the nightstand overnight. That being said, the stand-by time on the batteries is pretty amazing.

I have no use for lasers on my PDWs personally so I can’t speak to how good theirs is but I find the light to have a good spread with few hot spots. That’s what I prefer for a weapon light on a pistol especially if my main focus will be indoor use.

You get used to them really quickly. The little bit of extra weight on the end helps balance muzzle flip, and from a home defense perspective they're super useful. Makes it easy to identify your target while also blinding them. I've got an X300 on my G19 and the outer head is totally roasted from muzzle blast but still works flawlessly. Just need to keep a little layer of vaseline on the lens to help catch carbon buildup and makes cleaning much easier.

In all honesty, I just wanted one for the looks. I have no intentions of carrying the 19x. I bought it simply b/c I wanted the "military" Glock...................and I'm a huge fanboi

I carry either my 48 or 43x as those just "fit" me. I carried a G23 for years until the single stacks came out.

You never know! I don't carry my 19 either but it's my go-to for home D and SHTF. Not that it's my overall favorite in my collection, but it's what I would grab if I had to pick just 1. It's small, concealable, has good capacity with +2 extensions, reliable, easy to find parts for and easy to maintain. With a can, red dot + light it's the perfect all-round gun imo.

But I'm a huge biased fanboi too haha.

No doubt. I'm just not gonna pretend to be an "operator". I know my Glocks and I'm very comfortable with them........but I wanted the 19x to have that "tacticool/military" look and feel to it. Plus, if I ever want to play soldier......I'll need it

These are my go to's right now. The only thing swapped was night sights. I've always wanted to try a Zev Tech trigger, but I know I'd have to swap them all out and that's a hefty price

Funny you mention the trigger, because I hated shooting Glocks until I shot one with a Zev trigger. I was an instant convert after that. My G43 has an Overwatch trigger and my G19 has Zev. Totally worth it imo, but then again trigger/sights are usually the first upgrades I do to most of my guns.

I run aftermarket in my AR's, but I have been cautious of swapping the pistol triggers. I'm use to them and I know that if I run a Zev in one, I'm gonna want them in all

    Is the Zev trigger metal?

If so, is there any issue with the metal trigger wearing out the polymer frame?

I have the Zev trigger in all 3 of my Gen 3s. The shoe is aluminum, and I have no wear on the frames. I have several thousand rounds through each of my G17/G19/G26 glocks.

I trick I learned was to use a pencil eraser to clean the carbon off the lens. It works so much better and faster than anything else I tried and lessens the likelihood of scratching the lens.

Sold the junkyard gucci 19x last week to fund a purchase I’m saving for, anyhow got a new 43x mos the other day already have a slew of parts coming.
Ch&P holosun plate for a 407k, true precision threaded barrel in TiN, Suarez street comp, ameriglo suppressor black out rear and Front NS, Streamlight Tlr-7 Sub, maritime cups, just need to order a holster next and eventually I’ll get an apex or overwatch precision trigger shoe.
I’ve been carrying a CZ but it’s delegated to HD for now till it sells and I get a staccato.:quickdraw:

I just put some clear tape over the lens during range sessions but the eraser sounds interesting never heard of that.
