I ran a pair (17rd) hard during a Haley Strategic pistol class. I would say they performed as well as Glock mags, and better than just about every other non-Glock mag I saw in 3 days and 1700 rounds.

Back in the glock camp. We'll see if this one lasts in my safe longer than the other one I had.

Thinking about swapping out my Shield for a 26 or 43, all my friends are going nutty for the 43 but I like the magazine capacity capacity of the 26, any other pros/cons I should be aware of?

I agree, the G19 is very hard to beat; and is one of my favorite 9mm GLOCK's, but the G26 may be the most versatile of them all. The G26 can use the mags from the G19 and G17. Definitely an added benefit of the G26. I had to have the G43 (like many others), but soon realized that the G26 was by far a better fit for me, even with my large hands. More comfortable, more capacity, easy to conceal, and the ability to use the mags from the bigger brothers (G17 & G19). So I sold off the G43, and used that to go out and get myself the G21 Gen 4, a fantastic soft shooting 45 ACP.

I do very much enjoy my G31 G4 and G32 G4 as well. The .357 Sig round is a high velocity round with a nice flat trajectory. I like the recoil a lot more than that of the GLOCK 40 cals. The .357 Sig round pushes into the palm of your hand vs the flip of the 40 cal.

Man do I wish I got a 26 from the get go. I too got sucked into the 43 hype. Yeah it's nice on occasion, but once I carry my 43 in my appendix rig, I might as well of gotten a 26.

So I'm hoping my girlfriend will want my 43 as a birthday gift. Bad idea? Lol

I went the other way, i thought the 43 was much more concealable than my 26. The 26 was still a great handgun, don't get me wrong but I shoot the 43 just as well but it prints less under a tshirt.

That said I also carry a G19 under a tshirt a lot and it pretty much disappears.

The other night at dinner I carried my g43 in the full incog rig, wearing a tighter tshirt then usual. It was not to be seen, virtually disppeared. But it's not like a 26 is that much bigger. I do shoot the 43 very well , just kinda on the higher capacity train at the moment.

I used to carry a m&p40c and it was a good gun. Then I found a 30s and I was pissed the 30s holds 3 more rounds of 45 in a smaller package. Not sure how that works but couldnt be happier with it. So now its my edc

Maybe I'll get a 19 and a 26. I was just gifted a Surefire X300 Ultra from one of my friends, I think it may be too big for both of those guns, but fits perfect on my full-size 1911.

    G43 is more comfortable to carry since it's lighter/thinner than a G26.

But, most printing is done by the butt of the grip, and the G26 has a shorter grip than the G43 so it won't be any drastic difference.
