    I didn’t realize this thread existed @gixxerphil . I just bought my first Glock this weekend a Gen5 17MOS. Feels great haven’t shot it yet. Mag release is a little hard to reach I may order an extended one. Got the 17 plus an Alien Gear holster and a box of ammo.

    Bought a holster for my Glock 45 X300 combo, going to attempt to carry that daily.
    Thinking about picking up some Ameriglo Hackathorn sights for it as well but can't decide.

    Have you seen the Vickers Elite sights (on Wilson Combat site)?

    I have those on my 19 and 45. Not the least expensive, but very nice sights.

    I am also considering the Ameriglo Spartan Operator sights. Looking for some do it all day and night sights.

    I have Night Fisions on most of my Gs. They are brighter than anything out there and the circles are really circular, if that makes any sense.

    Any recommendations on an optic ready slide for a Glock 23. Think I’d like to pair it with a vortex venom 6 MOA red dot. Never ran a red dot but I’d like to give it a go..

    just send your stock slide to wager machine works for $85 and he will do the milling for you.

    I had that thought when I got my first milled individual slide. After a month ended up buying a frame and lower parts kit for that slide and now I have 2 glock 19's lol.

    If I were you, I'd get a milled glock 19 slide and then you can just switch the slides on the same frame and have 2 calibers too.
