Nice rig. I never could get my glock 80% to work. I'm not in CA, so it's easier to just get frames on gunbroker.

    Thanks.
We can still order the OEM Glock slide assembly on gunbroker for ~400 over to Cali.
Had a few local friends pick them up already.

I got this with a Swenson bbl and slide with glock internal parts from MidwayUSA all on sale Thursday. Got it overnighted UPS by Friday morning so I could spend the last evening and this afternoon building it. Had to stipple it too, it's just too slippery with the factory finish.

I'll test it tomorrow. Picking up my new VP9 and SA TRP 1911 tomorrow also. So far, everything is perfect in function testing with a snap cap. I had one issue initially because I installed the slide lock lever spring over the locking block pin, when it's supposed to go under. It would bind up a little before I could fully rack the slide back.
Polished all the trigger action surfaces and rails. Nice and smooth without having to break it in to get the "grittiness" out.
    All good now.

Had a trial run with this today. ~200 rounds. Had about 8 light strikes with dimpled primer within the first 50 rounds, but broken in afterwards and zero issues on reman ammo.
    Middle pistol!

Gen4 19 and 17 are $499 at Academy. Couldn't resist a sale so I had to pick up....

    ... An HK VP9. :D

(They're $549 right now and come with 6 mags after the mail in rebate.)

But good deal on the Glocks if you're in the market.

Is that just an AR lower that takes glock mags? My cousins been talking to me about a glock Lower that fits onto an AR upper... I think he's confused and this is what he's talking about

Correct it's an ar based lower that takes glock magazines. You should look up AR9 and I think that's what he's probably talking about. I can put any AR upper receiver on it but I need a 9mm barrel and bolt

Found myself a grey polymer frame Glock 34 gen 4! My bosses are both gun nuts and gave me some help searching. Now I have to wait for it to ship to my FFL and then the dang 10 day CA wait period.

    That's outrageous.

Any of you CA guys have a 43? What's the going rate for a private party sale.

I don't have a 43 myself but most glocks in CA all go for around the same price private or through a FFL new, I paid $635 for my OD and the black ones are all the same price dosent matter if it gets smaller or bigger there all marked at $550

Used likes to stay around 350-550 depending on how badly the person wants to sell it

I know someone who sells the cheapest glocks in CA he claims he will beat anyone as long as he won't lose money because of a special there doing at a shop and his price for a OD was 519$ after taxes and fees
