I had a comp on my G19 that made it as long as a 34. Wicked uncomfortable for appendix carry. I know some folks can get away with it, but not this guy.

Does anyone have a pic of a G17 side by side with a G19 with a comp on it?

I bought it elsewhere from where I heard that...so not a sales tactic I don't think...I trust the guys who work there and they've always taken care of me when I qualified for blue label

From what I've been told, they won't be sold as blue label.

I was looking at the new gen 5, 17 it was really nice. I liked the no finger grooves and the factory glock night sights with 3 mags. Only thing was they would have to swap the mags that came with it because I think they were like 17 rounds or something. I'm only allowed to have 10 round mags but I can still get first responder pricing. I have a G23 3rd gen all so but i like the grip on the 17 gen 5 alot better than my 23. 9mm are a lot cheaper to so eventually it would pay for itself. I ran it by the GF , she said NO Way so it looks like I'll have to sneak it in the house and pay cash.:fenforcer:

Wow those look great I've been eyeing the trijicons but that setup looks low profile and slick.

Thoughts on magpul mags over glock brand? Half the price and I've never heard of any ftf or anything, just looking for opinions.

When the Gen5s were released, I flat out said meh and that I was not a fan...I always liked the finger grooves

I would like to officially rescind my opinion temporarily until I shoot this 19x

Yeh either tne finger grooves work for your size hands or they don't. In my case I got lucky and am happy with all my gen 3s.see no reason to purchase any of the newer gens as mine have worked flawlessly 100%, and the minor upgrades (changes, really) don't motivate me in any way to change up. 3rd gen for life, I fully expect mine to be heirlooms.
