Finished a Polymer80 Glock 19 lower last night. Took about two hours, a dremel, sandpaper and an electric drill.

Have a Glock 19 with night sights and a Streamlight mounted on for daily carry and work and have a Glock 36 (.45) on the shelf.

It took some getting used to. It was awkward to engage the light and then I added the finger button, so now I can just grip tighter and turn it on. Worst part is finding a good holster to conceal with the light. But over all I like having the light attached so I can free up a hand or use an extra flashlight or whatever. As far as shooting, the 9mm doesn't recoil much anyway but the added weight up front seems to help the barrel on target easier

I've had the 17 since 99 and I've put it through the ringer. Picked up the 23 in a trade a few yrs ago, guy had it duracoated tan and olive drab tiger stripe. Not really my thing but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Next Glock purchase will probably be a 19 or 43.

Great so far! 200+ rounds through it. I can make it fail to return to battery if I limp-wrist it one handed. I assume that issue will work itself out with more rounds. I might flitz the rails and run another couple hundred through it to buff out any high spots.

No serial # required in the free parts of the country unless I'm going to transfer it, which I'm not.

It's not cerakoted but duracoated more like a paint job. I'll try to post a pic later but the slide looks kinda rough because I use the 23 as my EDC it goes everywhere I go and has some holster wear.

Like I said earlier, I'm not a big fan of the paintjob but it was too good of a deal to pass up. I wouldn't do it myself but to each his own.

I have a 23 and I bought some 22 mags, I know someone somewhere makes the plastic piece that covers up the bottom of the mag that sticks out of the 23 or 27. I just do not know what they're called.

Currently saving for a Battlefield Green 43
