    Thanks everyone for your replies.

I always appreciate the feedback from fellow Taco owners.

To summarize, everyone agrees, put the glock in the back if the safe and buy a New Les Bauer in 45 to get'er done.

So I am told i might have used a term that would indicate that I EDC this G17, I don't. It is strictly a home defense gun and target pistol.

But I do EDC a G19 and G26 and want to run the G17 in those as the second & third mags in case of a SD situation, as well as use them in the G17.

So I bought 5 of the Magpul for the G17 as well as 2 more Glock mags for the 17. This gives me a total of 5 for each.

The 26 is a spot on Glock, but I still think a 30s has it beat in the EDC department.

I sold my 26 right after picking up a 43 because of how much thinner it was. Figured if i wanted a double stack id just carry my G19.

Anyplace i couldnt risk being spotted id want the smallest possible pistol anyway. Anyplace else i might as well have the benifits of the larger G19.

I have a S&W Shield in 40 that is single stack.

Not my favorite because of the thinness in my hand
Hard to hold on to with bear paws.....

I am a big guy, so a 19 in my right front pocket disappears easily.

I ended up going with Trijicon Standard Green BNTNS 600210 (GREEN ON GREEN-three dot) GL10 sights. Trying to keep this thing simple and clean.

Thank you all for the suggestions! :)

I watched a video and it said Glock’s model numbers are established by the number of their patent
