Extremely happy, fit and finish are great. Super clean edges and top notch milling for sure, the rmr sits down in the frame alittle as well. I sent my rmr (and iron sights) in with my slide and they laser sighted it in for free, it was almost dead on at 25 yards when i shot it. I sent my slide in on black friday and was given a lead time of 7-8 weeks, i was pleasantly surprised to receive a return tracking email on the 21st of december and it was back in my hands on christmas eve! I'll be sending my G17 slide in as well in the future.

I want to undercut my 19 but I’m nervous to mess it up too bad. What did you use and how did you do it

I used a dremel, take your time too. "You can always take more off but cant add it back" as some say. There are a ton of videos on youtube, watch some and get a feel for what you'll be doing. I did my G17 and the undercut on the trigger guard and shaving the finger grooves turned out great, now my stipple job was alittle rough but good enough for what it is.

Not hard at all man. I did mine a while ago. Dremel for the rough in and I hand sanded using progressive grits to get the texture right and smooth everything out.

Same all the way through. Never gave that much thought but I would do the grip different next time If I could. Not take as much as off. The color is a little lighter but with a little polish it turns the same.
I used a dremel with a sand paper wheel then used various grits up to 600 to make it smooth and shiny. A higher grit will make it shiner. Just take your time and keep it level. I watched a ton of videos and read a ton of threads before I did it and everyone i do turns our better.

    Couple quick mods tonight.

Hyve technologies extended mag release and slide plate. Not sure I’ll keep the slide plate, its slightly distracting when looking down sights, but time will tell. If I do change it, I’ll for sure be keeping a metal one.

The factory fatty mag release wasn’t enough? Just curious.

I too am looking to upgade to a metal slide plate as well. I’m also considering the plug for the bottom of the grip too.

not for me, although its bigger than some previous generations, it does not stick out any farther. I still needed to rotate my hand, compromising my grip to hit the mag release. with the new extended release, that is no longer an issue. I have not brought it to the range yet, but dry fire practiced a few mag changes.
