For what I do it's perfect. I always have a pack on and using a belt holster on the motorcycle is super uncomfortable unless I'm standing. I'll strap it on once I hit forest service roads. I've come across a couple weirdos, a bear, and a mountain lion deep in the forests on dirt roads.

It's a 4. The double spring is nice and all, but the rod down the middle, is plastic. You can feel it walk a little bit when cycling the slide, and I believe it was reflected in follow up shot placement prior to the upgrade.

If you are using it for self defense against bears, go right ahead. If you are going to a range day to run 100s or rounds through it, get a wolf barrel.

Anyone have the Overwatch DAT trigger? Been eyeing them lately and read good things and seen the videos on youtube, any input on yay or nay on them?

I was looking for a chest rig and I came across the kenai. The way its engineered specifically for outdoorsmen was perfect and every single review I could find on it basically said its the best holster ever made so I was sold. No hip holster weighing down my pants or interfering with hiking strides or my pack hip belt, I can comfortably wear and draw it while driving, I can cast a fishing rod and shoulder my rifle with it on, no buckles on the back that will chaff under my pack. The only scenario I can imagine where it's not ideal is belly crawling through a mine or cave (which I do) but that's the absolute least of my concerns. I've always hated hip holsters for hiking and hunting.

Honestly, a trigger is my next purchase. The tiny face of the stock glock trigger hurts my big fingers lol

I agree!!! Ive got the 3.5 minus polished trigger bar and did the .25 cent trigger job on all my glocks but im left wanting more... I like the flat face triggers and the DAT doesnt defeat the internal drop safety like some of the other triggers do....

I plan to use it mainly for bear defense. This gun sees little range time. I shoot it just enough to be accurate with it

I have a 23 right now as my only glock. I tried to use it as my EDC, but it feels a bit too heavy for that. I may just need to upgrade my belt and that will fix it? I'm using an alien gear holster. I've had my eye on a 43 as well, but i have to be honest. It didn't feel good in my hands, so far leaning towards the shield. Just because it felt better holding it. I dunno, ideally I'd like to shoot both and then make my decision, but i cant afford to buy both lol

TLR-1 and it is a great flashlight/strobe. Simple paddle switch, easily accessed by your support hand. Highly recommended for the pricepoint over the expensive LED ones.

I have one from before they were Overwatch. It's just the shoe, but it does help keep me from shooting left of center as I tend to do with the serrated "target" trigger that comes on the compact glocks. If you like a flat face trigger, Overwatch or Agency would be great options.

I "carry" mine. I have a permit but I literally go from work to school and back home. So it sits in the truck/bedside unless it's the weekend and I'm not out drinking I carry. It's not bad just need to tighten the belt

Thanks for the replies, i think i'll start with upgrading my belt and go from there. I will admit it is not a gun belt, it is just a standard leather belt. That was mainly my issue. The weight of the gun would either make my pants sit awkwardly or it would pull them down. Constantly tugging at your pants with a gun connected to them is just not fun
