Glove box compartment 3d printed letters

Got mine in earlier this week, just hadn’t had a chance to put them on & take a pic, but here it is, Cavalry blue!!! Awesome fit, finish, & color A+++

They look better in person. Looks like you already sent a PM. Stated in PM the colors I wanted and OP hooked me up and I am sure will do a great job getting the color(s) you want. Awesome mod and top notch customer service!

 

I have white vinyls in my taco, such as the pro TRD shift knob stamp and door sills. Was thinking maybe going “TACO” in white to match my other vinyls and “MA” in black? Just thinking the black cause my truck is black. Whatcha think? But then I thought maybe all black to match my blacked out look for my Tacoma. I dunno lol.

 

I did a two color to match the TRD interior and boy howdy do they look good.

 

If you like the white for everything else, I would go with white. Worst case scenario you can spray paint it black. I originally went white/red because I have a white truck. After a mock up, I decided the white was a little too flashy for my likes and I wanted a little more subtle so I spray painted it to match the trim around the stereo (gunmetal). I toyed with the idea of white/black as well. In the end, the white looked very nice, but it just wasn't for me.

I would like to provide an update. Living out here in AZ it is getting hot now and so far the letters are not peeling from the heat!

Do these inlays create a flush feel on the glove box?

 

No,they are raised 1-1.5 mm. They look amazing, but if flush is what you’re looking for, these are not flush.

 

Raised is better, I just didn’t want it to sit inside the cut out

 

Yes they are raised a bit to stick out. I just bought a dslr camera just for taking pictures of the letters and should have higher quality pics up this weekend.

 

My red ones stick out a tiny bit more than the dark grey, but they look super slick.

 

Got my letters in gun metal for my truck, and they look great! Truly finished out the glovebox. Had a small issue on my end, but @tacos4cheap helped to correct it right away and is great to work with. Thank you very much!
