Glove box latch not so latchey (pics)

    In my decade long quest to fix the passenger side dash rattle, my glove box latch no longer works. I pulled the box apart to get to the actual latch & it looks like the spring isn't returning the latch arm. Not sure why all of the sudden it would be an issue. Am I missing something?
    Are these available on line or should I just swing by the stealership?
    Obviously, if there is a quick/easy fix, I will go that route

    Exactly same issue. Did you find the part? How did you get the outer cover separated from the black plastic inner section? Seems like it would pry apart, but didn't want to force it and bust it.

    I pryed it apart carefully and it snapped back together. I put the latch back in and have been manually pushing the latch open to close it. The spring is slipping. I'll just order a new latch when I get some time.

    Calm down sport. Just trying to prod you to do some searching. This forum has tons of great DIY threads and just about everything has been covered with excellent writeups and pics.
