Glove Box Light? Any Fix?

I literally just googled (Glovebox Light For Tacoma) for the exact reason you mentioned "My wife does" and this thread came up.

EDIT: she keeps her skin care products & other compact things for our outings in there.

I also asked the parts guy from Prestige Toyota in NY (where I got my TRD Skid From) if there was a kit.

Funny, my wife complained about this also recently. Evidently her Camry has a factory glove box light and she was not happy that the Taco did not. I told her she could always use the flashlight that I keep............................. in the fucking glove box!

 

My wife has a 2019 Camry XSE. I have a 2019 Tacoma. Don’t get me started on what her Camry has and my truck doesn’t! It’s a long list ….

 

I don't have a light in the glove box but do on the phone charging dock lol.

 

Don't go out at night.

 

Get the glove box light from a 4runner. My wifes Limited has one and from what I can see looks like an easy mod. I'm looking into this.

I searched the webs for a kit/mod conversion but really didn't see anything.

I also never heard back from the guy at the Toyota parts store in NY.
