RCI rock sliders engine/trans/transfer case, differential and A-arm skids. ARB twin-compressor, rear air locker. Bilstein 6112/5160 with Icon RXT Leaf Packs. UpTop Overland Bedrack.
The lock cylinder probably has an extra waffer pin that is not used by the key that retains the lock cylinder in place. It can probably be raked out with some lock picks. I looked at the back side of the glove box door and it doesn’t seem serviceable from the rear. Take it to a competent locksmith if you do not have the picks or the ability to pick it yourself. They should be able to help you swap cylinders.

**edit: didn’t read your whole paragraph about the glove box door being swapped.
