Not without shortening my drive shaft. I see more cutting wheels in my future....

Should have some extra room in your slip yoke due to the lift.....lower equals longer. Have looked at my rear often and thought why Toyota decidied to have the axle so far rearward in the wheelwell

Who made your shock hoops BTW? If it was Dirt King, I don't see them offered on their site. I may end up converting my 10's to 12's or 14's and do this mod. An extra 4 inches of travel would be well worth it. I would run a bolt on crossbar from each hoop through the bed to give additional support if I did this.

Dirt King made them for Evenflow and he sold them to me. You're right, they aren't on his website.

Ahh I gotcha. Any rubbing on the shock bodies from the tires thus far?

Just a little. I just noticed the rubbing over the weekend when I was up in the mountains. I have some wheel spacers but wanted to see if I could get away with not using them....guess I'll be putting them on AND cutting some plastic.

Shit. I was hoping you would had said like 5.5 or 6.5. I run 4.5 also. Damn it. I really don't want to throw spacers on there.

I know, right? I don't like spacers. Meaning I hate spacers.

I don't mind them. It's just that I don't want to run them unless I absolutely have to. Dude they have actually held up to all the hell I have put my front end through off road. That includes dune hopping. They aren't bad if you get them from Spidertrax or Bora. I personally prefer Bora as that is what I run in the front. Have had them on for easy 20K miles. Still holding rock solid.

I bought some 1.25" spidertrax spacers just in case. I feel a bit better that you've beat on them (with hard bump stops!) and they have held up.

Oh yeah. I have obliterated my truck in the past 2 and a half years. Running these for the last year and a half and continuing to play demolition derby out in the terrain has proved these are worth their weight in gold ten fold. They have more then proven their worth to me and I have more then gotten my money's worth out of them. Don't feel worried about running these whatsoever, as they are both hub and lug centric in one. Just make sure your spacers are torqued and tightened up well and same goes for the wheel. They will just about handle all you can throw at them. Especially as the rear end doesn't have nearly as much weight as the front does.

Good to know. I'll put them on this weekend and see if the shock body still rubs. Guess I'll need to cut plastic too. FML!

An inch spacer should be plenty honestly.

Get Bora if you want to do an inch then. If you are ok with running 1.25" then you will be fine.
