    folks bring stuff into the office all the time (well, not so much now with COVID) and there's never anything I can eat. There used to be one other girl who was also GF but she left a year ago. Her and I would always make a point to bring in treats for one another once in a while...and we wouldn't share with anyone else.

    I actually know someone who had to go through all of the tests for the paralyzed stomach thing - kinda scary really. Shes diabetic and I guess that's a long term complication that some diabetics have to deal with. Never knew such a thing was possible

    don't give me any ideas! I'm still on the 1st pack.
    Also, for those of you on the hunt for the GF Oreos... every store that I've found them in they are not in the cookie aisle - they've either been on an end cap or on a free standing display. One store had them over in the dairy section

    Yeah, that's one of the most common causes of it. I'd be so screwed if I was diabetic. Most people with the condition live on protein and my body just can't digest it, so I rely on carbs for calories. If you have a severe case it's an extremely scary disease.
    My nutritionist told me to try a gluten free diet, but with my current restrictions there's nooo way. If I could handle protein I would definitely try it.

    Finally found the GF Oreos! Double Stuf, too! I bought two packages, one for now, one to stash in the cupboard above the fridge my fiance can't reach. She may have just yelled at me because they've been in the house for an hour and I've already had 4. :anonymous: Definitely better than the glutinos.

    but i used Reese's brand peanut butter and used mini Reese's Pieces AND mini chocolate chips

    OMG so good. this is my 3rd time making this in 4-ish months :anonymous: i can't get enough of it!
