I was gifted a container of GF Jules’ pizza crust mix and all purpose flour. Science commence!

Edit: I split the pizza mix for her baguette recipe, this is one can total.

If you’re referring to what we did while waiting on the pizza, then yes :D

Testing done! Excellent crumb, fantastic pull, and superb crispness without the unfavorable burn. 100% yes!

There really should be. I just saw this container is $15 on Amazon, so not really a budget friendly option, especially for you Canadian folk. I’m going to test the other products and see how they fair.

Edit: Thank you, I was so concerned with the facts that I missed your cordials

I really don’t care what it costs. Mans gotta eat. Better yet, eat something that doesn’t slowly kill you. Bein’ a Medical condition, Celiac Folks up here qualify for a disability tax credit once Doctor approved. Makes no never mind to me as that gets cut off if you earn above a given income which I always do. Yes, I’m with you. $10-12 is a lot for a loaf of bread but add a couple of zero’s & you got what some Folks pay in Meds for other life altering conditions. Boils down to You gotta do what You gotta do.

We don’t have that system — we have a friend from Germany with celiac that says Sweden gets a $1k life-long stipend to coat the cost of gf foods if you tested positive.

Yes, I believe the Tax credit here is about the same. Good deduction but over a given income certain Folks won’t qualify. Fair enough. More for the Folks that really need the support. :)

it sucks for me because my "official" results for the blood test were inconclusive so according to the dr's i don't have an issue with gluten. BUT if you ask me it changed my life being GF so I'm sticking with it no matter what the professionals say. How else can you explain all of my digestive/medical issues going away with the change in my diet? and I don't itemize at tax time so I'll never get the credit.

Should really get tested again after this COVID thing is done. Guy at one job site thinks this is all in my head. Said one of his Kids has “difficulties” but “he’ll grow out of it”. Says all these Folks testing positive is “just a fad”. When I showed him a copy of my scan & the permanent damage this condition has caused I think he came to believe this is totally real. Poor Kid tho.
