All right. I'll attempt to reply to this without giving any "political" perspective.

Nevertheless, this type of post shows remarkable lack of historical perspective.

The United States has been defended successfully against enemies.

The United States has built a remarkable Interstate Highway System.

The United States has been towards the front (not necessarily AT the front) of the technological revolution and funded key research projects such as the ARPANet (google it) and GPS.

The United States has built a remarkably inclusive system of government which gives more voice and more inclusion and more protected freedoms to a larger segment of the population than any other system of government in the history of the world.

That doesn't mean there is not corruption, greed, small mindedness, intolerance within our borders because there is.

Become informed and fight to correct that which needs fixing, yes. But give props to that which has achieved as well. We could be doing a hell of a lot worse.

Just kidding you Canadians. I wouldn't wish that on you. We can't get our own shit straight down here.

By the way I know at least one of you has to be friendly with a polar bear. Whether it be carnal friendliness or a pet. Bring he or she down to Detroit and let it out in the GM CEO's office after you dress him in a seal outfit. Maybe that would keep his mouth shut. :D

By the way no disrespect intended, so for those canucks who get there panties in a wad. Wash the sand out and then pull them out the crack of your ass. You'll feel better. :stirthepot:

    None... sigh
He's an idiot. We all already own a small, very small, piece of GM, so shouldn't the American people have a say in what the CEO does?
