Never tried, but it should just be sticked on there. I would assume googone and a bit of heat + floss/fishing line will do the work without damaging anything.

I’ve heard both good stories and horror stories of people cracking the glass. I’m just going to leave mine on even though I don’t want it on.

Why all the hate? It’s a cheeky novelty. In 30 years it’s going to be an endearing selling point...like the NES powerglove.

It used to be a selling point. I forgot it was there, till this thread popped up.

It's a bitch to take off. Make it easier on yourself and use a razor blade between the mount and windshield. Keep working between the two and it will sperate, but don't force it. It's a really sticky glue they used on the rubber mount... I struggled with mine for an hour before I resorted to the razor blade which had it off in 5 minutes.

Mine hosts my dash cam 24/7, so I prefer to keep it there. However, I did have my windshield replaced recently and it came with a Faux-Pro mount. It works pretty much the same as the original. The installer was kind enough to pop off the old one and put it in my cupholder. I really don't know what he did to get it off though.

I don't use it however friends who have ridden with me typically comment positively about it.
Why the heck take it off?
