Go with Clazzio Leather seat covers, or have dealer get CST installed?

Clazzio's have a good reputation here in the 3rd Gen (and I'm sure other models) section, but the only info I could find searching for CST (Classic Soft Trim) is a couple years old. I'll be picking up my '18 Cement Grey DCLB Sport in a couple weeks and the broker/dealer can have CST Leather installed for $900 and some change but I'm not sure if you have custom stitch options like you do with the Clazzio yet. I think the price on Clazzio is around $700 with custom stitching colors, then installation cost is just my time, so just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with CST and/or if anyone thinks a dealer-installed option sounds good. Thanks!

And yes, I prefer leather to cloth :)

My vote for clazzios. If you rip or destroy a piece of the seat you can simply replace that piece from clazzios without actually re upholstering anything. Plus with having after market leather installed you’re unlikely to recoup any of that money when/if you trade/sell. You can at least sell the clazzios on eBay or here eventually if you need to.

Mine have held up well for over two years now. Plus pretty sure clazzios does a tacoma world discount. Call them and they’ll more than likely give you a deal

Good call on the resale aspect.

I saw TacomaWorld was a discount code a year or so ago, I can try it and see.

    Thanks again.

No problem. I know people here have had luck calling them directly and asking about discount codes when ordering as well

I would totally stick with the Clazzio's. I personally have no experience with the Clazzio's or the other option you are considering but I have seen the Clazzio's installed in person and am amazed at how they look. You cannot tell them apart from factory leather upholstered seats as the fitment is perfect. They smell like leather and they have endless options when it comes to colors, stitching colors, embroidery, etc. And all around I have heard nothing but great experiences with their customer service! How can you possibly go wrong if you're already willing to spend that kind of $ on seat covers.
