How are we feeling about leaving these on for 2-3 weeks? It’s a hell of a job installing these (with some OCD perfection) the first time. I need them for this weekend and then again in 2 weekends. Truck is usually parked outside. Moderate cool PA temps right now.

also hopefully no concerns going over a ceramic coating (I saw the notice about letting it cure, which is is well well cured, from 3 months ago). Just worried it’s a bit slippy, especially those front fender upper ones that have that point that looks like she could flip and sail.

 

I don’t think you’ll have an issue with that amount of time. Make sure the truck is clean prior to install. And if you get dirt on the edges just make sure you spray or clean it off. You could also do 1 panel every few days. That makes it more manageable.

 

here’s mine after a trip to Death Valley. I tried taking them off and rolling it back up into the tube it came in to store but it was too much work. Some of the corners got pinched and it was a b*tch to get em flat. I think it’s best to store em flat. It’s all good. They did the job! Would buy again.

 

Did you notice and scratching in the clear coat from them since you have a darker truck?

It’s still smooth after i remove the goats. the magnets will scratch if u move em on the paint side to side. the instructions from goat is to peel and stick. i do what i gotta do to get em in place. i could care less about lil scratches that can be buffed out. the goat armor is just that. armor.

 

Cool thanks. Yea I’m sure and little clear coat swirls you get beat pinstripes from the trails.

I finally put this on the truck after like a month and a half. JUST to see how it all goes together. Ill see how it stays on, if i dis a good job with the application. Take it off in a few days. Still unsure how ill store this stuff.
There are videos online where dudes are treating this like a surgical operation. Its not hard, it doesnt take all day. You need ZERO knives. Just your finger and take your time. Its hilarious what youll find on youtube.

Looks great. If wrapping the truck didn't cost 5 grand id do it in this pattern.
I did keep my badging, so i needed to do some minimal trimming with a razor, again, EASY to do.

Id suggest storing it flat in the garage.

I have a TRD Pro. Any recommendations for how to make additional cuts to the armor to fit around the Pro badge on the driver and passenger doors?

 

I just took a new razor and made little cuts till it fit, while on the truck. Go slow. Easy

 

Got this a few months ago and have used it a few times. Looks really good on the army green and it holds on great.
