He doesn’t want one with a topper on yet unfortunately. Not sure why, but it’s his request. I’m hoping to get a truck there on the weekend of Jan 11 or 12 for a few hours so you guys can get some armor before this GB ends! I’m pushing Matt

At 140° it needs to be removed frequently. The magnetics are wrapped in a rubber and that is the stuff that’s gets soft.

I’m not sure what your full day sun is, but I would hope that as long as you’re not in full sun all day they should be good.

It’s really designed to protect the truck when wheeling, not to use full time.

Put it on. Wheel protected. Take it off.

I get that part, but if I leave it on for a long weekend (say three days) during the middle of the summer what happens?

After 140 degrees the armor needs to be removed frequently. Beyond that temperature you are at your own risk. Paint is porous, the material starts to soften up significantly. 60lb per square inch pulling towards the metal will pull the softened material into the micropores of the paint It’ll become a big decal. Its up to you if you want to ride the lighting in extreme heat.

There is also a way to tell when the heat rating has been exceeded on any damaged armor.

Wow, this product looks AMAZING! I’m especially liking this look at the moment.

Just curious tho, how well does this stick on ceramic coating?

I would be afraid of damaging the coating and have a topper, so not sure if it’s for me unfortunately.

It’s magnetic. It sticks regardless. As for hurting the ceramic, ceramic coating is like 3x harder than the paint clear coat. Not to mention it fills in all the paint micropores. So zero issues.

If anything this would be a valuable investment for you. Because the armor would protect the coating. And the coating protects the paint. It’s a win win.

Yeah except I wanna keep it on all the time and I’m afraid of pieces flying off on the freeway
I’m even more afraid of getting in trouble... with the bank.
    :spending:

Seriously tho it’s on my radar, just got other projects in the works at the moment. Even if I don’t make the group buy right now, I’m gonna need this down the line for sure.

You’ll have zero issues with it flying off! But I understand getting in trouble with the bank.

Is there a way to see a particular pattern mocked up on or trucks? This is a great idea, just not sure on the color or pattern on my truck.
