I've been running the goat armor for about a year now but only put it on when going on trips. I got it when only the solid black option was available but the new patterns he’s been coming out with look really good.

it works really well at limiting trail pinstripes. The uncovered areas around it on the side may get a few, but they don’t seem to be as bad as if you weren’t running any at all. Plus it limits them to smaller areas so they’re easier to buff out if you want.

It takes me about 30 minutes to install by myself. When removing I do the same as someone said earlier - wash with the goat armor on, remove the panels, wash the back of those really well, let them dry and then store them in the cardboard tube they ship in. The removal and storage process for me takes longer than install.

I like having mine since it greatly reduces the pinstripes I would get and it makes cleanup of the truck a little bit easier too. As others have said, the owner Matt is a really cool guy and puts a lot of pride into his work.

I’ve been slacking on updating my build thread but the next thing I’m going to post in there is a quick review of the goat armor.

Sub a dub dub for a future group buy. Ive been following them on IG for a while. I really like the way it looks/ protects.

MY only question, will it stay on at 90 across UTAH without flying off?

Now I didn't use this product and maybe his magnetic sheet material is better than what I had.

Yes, I have experience with large magnetic decals on vehicles. They work great but they must be removed and cleaned frequently. Normal vibrations and particles from the magnet will cause pin holes in the paint and moisture will cause little rust colored spots. This is no big deal if you take them off and don't run them all the time.

I left mine on all the time except when the truck and magnets were washed. I still had the pin holes develop over a couple year period.

The cold weather will make it very difficult to allow them to be taken off and on to prevent the issue. That's why I left mine on all the time and had the pin hole issues.

Take em off when not in the brush. It's a great idea and will save your paint if you are diligent with removing them.

I make sure the body surface and the back of the panel covers are clean and apply them before loading the truck. Saved a bunch of pinstripes so far. On the trail its hard to tell I have them on once everything is dusty.

So I talked to Matt some about the discussion of the material/dirt under the magnets against the paint.
He pointed out that this isn’t a wrap and that at least once a week the magnetic panels should be removed and paint cleaned. Pitting of the paint should not happen. Also, they will stay on the truck, even at high speeds.

Yes mine stayed on at over 100 MPH with no problems. Hint: I was legally able to do that.

For those who own the goat magnets, who actually does this?

I don't leave them on full time. I only put them on when going out to the trails then take them off when I get home.

Looks pretty cool. My truck is pin striped to hell, so getting something like this would be nice.

Wonder what colors would go good with quicksand.

Maybe that snake-camo pattern with tan and black?

I’m pretty sure he can make any designs you guys want. Let me touch base with Matt before I say that’s 100% true. He has done it before, obviously for a higher price. But if you want it, I’m sure he will do it. (Remember this will cost more, obviously)

As an example. @In4aride just got his custom Goat Armor delivered. It’s pretty wicked.
