I got some questions about Goat mountain in the MHNF. if anybody wheels out there, i would really appreciate some answers.

Is there any good wheeling there?
I've read that many of the trails were closed there, and most wheeling is illegal. I definitely don't want to do any illegal wheeling. Do you know anything about the legality of wheeling up there? Are the spots you wheeled at legal?
Lastly, do you know of any great nearby camping? (Rustic camping is preferred)

i actually just joined their forum too...i went out there anyhow and kinda got the lay of the land. ran into some hunters who kinda helped me figure it out... not too much to do as far as trails, just some unimproved mountain roads and lots of closed trails that were overused and abused prior to closure
    thanks for the suggestion though

excellent. we'll see you on the trails. too bad that area was/is messed up, I'd heard of some good trails out there.
