After needing to replace my LCAs and issues removing the bolts from my Eibach stage 1 suspension kit (rust belt problems). I have decided to replace it with the Halo series that GOAT Shocks offers.

I tried searching the forums but haven’t been able to find anyone running them yet. They seem to be a fairly new company and you won’t find but two videos on YouTube and as far as I could find and just thier website after a quick search on google.

I’m no guru when it comes to suspension components but I’ll try to keep this post updated on my experience is with them.

Curious why you chose these over the numerous other more well know options? The price seems comparable to the other options, so why roll the dice on this unknown brand?

To clarify, I'm not suggesting these aren't equal in quality or anything. But the entire point of rebuildable shocks is being able to get them serviced or tuned when the time comes. I would think that there would be significantly less options for getting that done with Goat shocks as opposed to Fox/King/Icon/etc.

The first versions of these Goat shocks were made by Radflo.

From current pictures these are 100% made in China now.

FYI this company is run/owned by Mountain Yota's here in Denver. https://mountainyotas.com/brand/goat-shocks/

Edit: The YT video states they are USA made, that is not correct based on the current pictures on the website.

That’s weird, I did call them and asked about production and he said they currently have local companies that fab a lot of thier stuff, and they are working on setting up an in house shop. Maybey you can’t believe everything you’re told I guess. Hope I don’t regret my decision with this purchase now. In all honesty though I would be surprised if they held up for a few years with the salty winters we have.

I don’t have a decent answer to that. Guess I just felt like rolling the dice and trying something different. I hope my experience goes well with them.

What do your shocks look like? If they look like the thumb nail in the YT video you posted than they are USA made by Radflo. If they match the pictures on the website than made in China.
