You paid for a warranty- The terms were up front. You can't reasonably get pissed that they won't do work for free.
    Good luck fixing it!!

No i just dont think it is fair that a car has a warranty for 36,000 miles, when i didnt put the first 12k on it. Stop being smart-asses and get off your high fucking throne

Take it easy man. You bought it used, so you cant expect it to have a new car warranty. Most times, there is a sticker on the windshield that says "No implied warranty", or the like.

So you think the warranty mileage should just reset every time there's a new owner? The thing could have 300,000 miles on it, and as long as you're a new owner, Toyota gives you a 36,000 mile warranty? Think about what you're saying.

lol, ahh how ironic. The big 3 used to have 3yr 36k mile warranties and now they all have 5 yr 50k. Toyota is really going backwards in terms of customer service and warranty.

    Too many mods to list
Apart from all the bla bla bla and hippity hoopla... its probably not your resistor unit itself...

There is a part, blower if im not wrong, under the dash in the passenger side. That part causes that as well. It happened to me and I though I blew the resistor. I went to a trusted AC place and the guy checked it. He literally hit the part and started the AC. It has worked flawlessly for a year after that and still going strong. He stated that the Tacoma has a part that tend to move and lay down, causing that problem. Im no tech, but he fixed it and I didnt have to buy any resistor. So try that and if its that, be merry.
