Well I’m in California and I’d love a slider think a lot of people would so maybe they would do it if we had say 10 for a group buy

I'm not sure how well that would work based with the metal cross members. The taco windows are already small as it is and then you would have to deal with the bars cutting off a portion of your already limited access. My guess is like a soccer ball sized opening at best.

I don't think there's room for that. You could do a center hatch style window that opens inward into the bed and is centered over the cab window slider.

Not that would be a direct fit is my guess, assuming the GFC window is a custom made piece to fit between the exact dimensions of the window. Unless they chose a window and then built the tube frame to accommodate it if optioned.

I have the standard front and rear window and would love a slider. If they could create an aftermarket option that could be swapped out for the original I would certainly be game.

OK, I'm going to go ahead & order the standard front window - so I'll have some additional sight & light & proceed from there.
I remember that lots of pickup campers had an open pass thru their cab/camper window, wrapped with some kind of weather stripping. Anyone consider this (removing the camper glass)?

Yes - I have considered it but have been too distracted otherwise to make any progress.

My thought was to remove the triangle GFC glass and use either type 540 or 545 seal from the above page and see if it would seal remotely well around the rear slider. Have not looked closely enough to tell if if would rub the paint on the cab or not.

If you try it please let me know - it would move the project up on my list knowing it would be successful.

Just wondering if anyone goes wheeling with the two square panels in place up top? I always have them in the bed but was just wondering

Just went on trails all day Saturday with all panels in. Not an issue. No water instrusion and tree branch scratches simply wipe off.

I am finalizing the order for my GFC this week (!!!) and would also like to have a slider, even if the opening is fairly small. We will often have our dogs in the back, would be great to be able to interact with them from the cab.

    Cheers,
    DJM
