Their blocks are fine. It’s the awning rods though. If I could find some more beefier ones that’d be awesome

You are correct, I am dumb as that was the only option I wasn't hitting to see which versions they had in stock. Thanks!

Just curious if anyone has fixed a leaking third brake light without removing the GFC?

    Thanks.

    Ok, thank you.
I'm an OG GFCer...have had it for 3 years. I might just take the DIY approach with the kits and long arms.

I agree. I’ve been pondering how to get it off and not too concerned about it sin it’s under the overhang, but water was pouring down from my roof the last time I hosed it down.

Maybe you could get somebody to help you slide it back far enough and rest it on a wood platform on your lowered tailgate to give you enough room to fix the third brake light :notsure:

Stubby screwdriver and work blind from the cab? I have a small ratchet with screwdriver bits which is smaller than a stubby. I would suggest some tape to make the bolt easier to catch.

I suggest that because lifting the camper may result in breaking the seal between the bed rail and camper.

If its a 3rd gen. The brake light unbolts from the inside. Have to pull the headliner down. However its way easier to remove from standing outside.
I siliconed the bejesus out of my brake light with window flowable silicone before the GFC install to hopefully not have to worry about it later.

It’s a recall and the dealer will replace all the water damaged panels/insulation. I need to lift it and see if I can get away without a new seal.
