Haven't been a dick and they’re still lagging. I’m so nice I even waited a few months to post about the problems with mine because they had been so cool in the beginning.

Seems like everyone’s products and customer service experiences are different. Hopefully they reach consistency soon

From what I gather, it seems like basic questions are answered fast but anything involving repairs, replacements, etc might take longer. Which makes since, but there have been cases where certain repairs have been quick while others have been weeks to months.

I have to agree. I get a relatively fast response and always with a cheerful attitude. Really looking forward to finally getting my GFC #296

Anyone do any hard wheeling/ prerunning with the gfc? Im thinking about it but my buddy smashed his rear cab window with a leer shell the other day and it got me thinking if the frame flex on the 3rd gen with the gfc might be a problem

I was smashing mine around hard enough about two weeks ago to break my rear view mirror off the windshield. No damage to the GFC air anything anything else other than scuffed/gouged up skidplates.

Got a spot for my battery sorted out. Stole the idea from the bow storage in my drift boat. Edge trim brings it together nicely.

Are you planning on powering anything built in to truck from the Yeti? I've been wondering if it's worth going for the larger model with the Anderson Power Pole connector to make hooking in to a small 12v panel a little cleaner.

I got a 100 watt flexible solar panel that will go on the roof of the camper. I’ll also plug it into the outlet in the bed while driving if needed.

I’ll just be running the fridge/phone/laptop off the yeti.

Hmm... For some reason I thought those were USB only. I'll have to pick up one. Basically I just jammed automotive blade fuses into the top terminals for 12v.

Does anyone know the hardware needed to mount traction boards to the extrusion?

They are usb and some round port that I don’t know what it is. If you need 12v I guess you’d have to figure out what connector that port uses.

What have any of y’all done to seal the bed for camper shell. I have a second gen (not in the pictures) with a shell on it but it always leaks under the bed rails. Can just fill with sealant due to holes underneath rail. Any other suggestions on how to seal it? Water will come from the wheel well, under the rail cap and into the bed

Has anyone tried the voodoo maxtrax mounts on the Tacoma bed rails?

Used this setup this weekend and it worked great. I might cover it with some marine carpet for completeness.

I'm bout to prep my bed caps with some aluminum tape and silicone. I know the tape is used to cover the holes but where is everyone putting the silicone?...on the bed caps?
