JLink how do you like the Endless Breeze fan?

 

How long did y'all wait for an invoice after you submitted your final options like color and windows etc?

 

I would also like to know. Just got my color samples and stuff

 

Mine came fairly quick:

9:31am - Finalized specs/ submitted final options
12:02pm - GFC confirmed options
12:05pm - Invoice Received
(all within the same day)

I just emailed them back with my selections and got the invoice a few hours after

 

I like it. I bought it for the old RTT and might've used it once. It definitely moves some air.

Lol.. using this fan make me appreciate how nice a fan in the roof would be.

I’m curious though, your fan can only suck, so I wonder if you’d notice any breeze. Where my fan blows, so you feel a breeze.. so I wonder which would actually feel cooler.

Yours will definitely be better for exhausting hot air though.

 

You can actually close the lid on the fan and turn it on to simulate a ceiling fan.

 

Nice. I like that idea. I just need to see if the dome size will affect using the roof rack for kayaks/ cargo box/ etc

I'm thinking cut a roof hole similar to the fan mods in this thread, then put some kind of vent/cover that would let air flow through but keep rain out. Throw it in the tent while deployed and run flexible tube to the hole, or maybe leave it in the bed and vent through one of the side panels... Any smarter-than-me person thoughts?

 

That’s a cool idea but damn that’s expensive.

 

Looks like max run time is about 6 hours on a battery. Multiple batteries, generator, and/or a really good charging system might be required.

 

@2ayne @STravis any video footage of your fans working in the GFC? I’m getting close to putting one in, and I may still put a passive marine fan in for when it’s all closed up. Just curious how yours are working after a week or so in

No videos, but it's a must have in my opinion. We have camped the last 13 nights and it's been an awesome addition.

 

My new GFC sheets just delivered. Looks like I’ll be cutting up my foam topper to install under the sheets tonight. Also, should have a new roof rack here in a couple days!
