Could anybody give my electrically challenged dumbass a tutorial on how to wire the break light on the GFC. Assuming I need to order a connecting piece to get this done..right?

I’ve been looking at the GFC. I didn’t even consider this - does the GFC not come standard with the 3rd brake light?

It comes with it mounted and mostly ready to go.. they give you the connector to wire from brake lights to 3rd brake light. It only takes about 5 min to connect.

it comes with the light you just have to wire it up. took about 5 minutes to do.
Just use The provided wire tap on the passenger brake light.

They originally installed it on the earlier versions including mine (#88ish). After taking my camper to GFC to get the upgraded seals, etc they didn't connect it. My guess is maybe some liability issues for tapping into the braking system?

I have been looking into actuators for my teardrop camper build. What and where might you have sourced those? The ones in your pic give the right extension I am looking for.
