Someone please link some options for hardware to mount stuff to the extrusions. I want to mount some quick fists along with some other things. I was thinking some carriage bolts so I don’t have to order anything? Not sure if that’s possible though.

We are working on our rear seat delete and some sort of living/storage design for the bed of the truck.

We had a Decked System in the bed before we put the GFC on but, sadly, had to remove it due to weight concerns. Just carrying the Decked killed the OEM leaf springs.
So far I've got a bedding hammock hanging from the GFC toward the front of the bed. I wish the GFC had more internal mounting points!

After about a hundred YouTube videos I think we've finally hit on an idea for a light-weight and minimalistic living/storage concept. Basically an extruded aluminum and marine plastic bench that runs the length of the passengers side and forms an L shape that terminates a bit over half way across the front. We're trying to avoid plywood to keep the weight down.

The rear seats have been "deleted" for a couple of months now and we have a very preliminary first draft on what's taking their place, but we would love to see what some of you have done.

I'll try to get some pictures as time and the project allows.

Thanks, @d.shaw, I'll have to sit down and go through it when I get another quiet moment. Since the seats weigh in at a tad over 80lbs, our goal is to keep the weight of the delete plus the fridge and battery system under that.

Very rough first draft of our seat delete and truck bed build. The frame in the bed is for a seat with storage underneath and the very large looking rectangle is a Sherpa that we've been using for the last couple of years. There is 10" between the frame and the Sherpa.

There will almost definitely be several changes to the concept, especially considering that measurements so far are only "mostly" accurate! Any suggestions would be welcome.230960280_1178982462583138_1612763785245491324_n.jpg 233926987_416451206438017_3747102402412576386_n.jpg 230550767_1288667681638004_5979651045221874620_n.jpg

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Impressive.
Maybe add a table top on top of the large rectangle, that slides over so you can use it while your sitting on the bench?
You could just do a pocket that the tables slides out of, no need in getting fancy with drawer slides.

The large rectangle is a Camp Chef Sherpa, it's soft sided with a detachable aluminum top and extendable legs. I usually carry my kitchen and a a few other necessities in it. It's a pretty versatile tool for packing, but not exactly the most compact. It does make a great desk area too.

So, about two weeks shy of a year, I now have the V2 on the back of the truck. I tried to get the exact same shot in the same place. It was later in the day and the sky was overcast this time, but I got it kinda close.

not at all.... I bought my GFC 2 weeks before I bought my taco and 4 months before I took delivery of my taco. ordered my 21 RTD Offroad in September last year took delivery in December. already have 15K miles on it. and driving up from Tampa FL to Montana to get the GFC will take me over 20. but the fuel to dive thee and back will be 2600 less than having them ship it to me .
