Anyone fit a v2.0 third gen taco GFC onto an old Toyota pickup? I've got a 92 that I might swap it onto.

I emailed GFC yesterday about this, apparently they revised the design so it would clear the 2nd gen sharkfin! what luck lol.

now I just need to sell this bedrack/RTT so I can get to sealing the bed and replacing the bedrail covers.

Awesome. I lucked out selling my bed rack/RTT when i did. Just rocked a free bed cover for my 10 month wait and then trashed it while i was in Montana.

    GLWS!

@trouttaco going thru old posts and found this sweet build of yours with white cabinets and swivel desk. Wondering if it’s still working well for you, was it your own design and build, and if you are still using it is there anything you wished now that you had done differently? Thanks!

I have the prototype being made at the moment (eta 3 weeks). Once I confirm its a good fit I will order a dozen or so.

If you are interested I can reserve one for you. No deposit or anything required. I would just need to know if you want full MOLLE pattern or a window cut out

Would be cool to see a proto without a window.

I was only able to find someone with a V2. I am totally new to the GFC, what are the difference between v1 and v2 as far as the frame?

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Never been into the molle game. I barely have enough equipment to put in that duluth organizer.

I might use a V1 panel to mount recovery boards… flip side is do I really want those inside…?

I like the molle panel because you can mount gear that would usually go into some sort of box that you would have to dig through to find it. Just me though, maybe i'm a little OCD...lol

The v1 only has 4 mounting points where the v2 has 6 i believe.

Im hoping to make it down to socal in the near future if you want to look and measure my v1. In the meantime, maybe i can find someone woth a v1bin socal that would be willing to meet up with you for measurements if you're up to it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Seems you could get more use out of it as a dog barrier in the cab! Now that’s an idea
