    naw......i seen the movie a hundred times...........and makes me realize if i ever go to virginia again....im taking my 4x4 and my loaded mossberg with me!:D

    petersburg is hometown, theres a civil war battlefield park off of the wythe st. exit in petersburg dont know the exit # its around 3 miles straight off the exit, right b4 Fort Lee army base

    no offense but 295 is a waste of time unless he hits richmond at 9am or 5pm not that much traffic ever, even at rush hour

    those are such horrible movies. have you seen the 2nd one? i dunno which is worse.

    @OP, everyone that lives near DC/has gone thru a bunch say to not get there from 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm.

    So leaving at midnight might not be the best idea (weather, random accidents, etc will hold you up, then you hit DC traffic.)

    If you leave your place at 6-7am you should be good. Get there around 1pm assuming you dont hit traffic, and you have almost the whole day ahead of ya.

    yeah man, i stopped there on the way back rom richmond. i went to the battlefield there, and wow, it was really awesome. sent chills down my spine just walking through there.
