Great build. How Ling did it take you to build or it one of those ”its never done”...

 

As I am slow as molasses, I will probably never be "done".

 

Is there a finished product to drool over yet?

 

Not yet. I got busy with work haven't had time to tinker with the system. More of a weekend project.

 

10-4 on that I had a great system in my 97 Nissan. and Now I am rocking $7000.00 hearing aids and after 3 years they need to be replaced because they do not sinc up to my phone real good. You Young guy's can have all that noise. But @Jayrivera78 I do like the work you and others have put in to your trucks.

 

I've been in construction all my life, my hearing is already fading. Also I don't listen to it all that loud. I love music for my hour long commute.

 

I am a retired Mechanic and ex military so all that killed my hearing, My right ear is 90% gone and the Left is trying to catch up to that .

 

It's funny how it never dawned on me about shooting with just earplugs wasn't really good enough. I took the yearly hearing exams at my current job to have the audiologist make the connection for me.

 

My Audiologist told me if you went to bed with the hearing you had when you were younger and woke up with the way it is now that you would be so upset that you would go to the ER. it just happens so slow that you do not even know it until it is to late.

 

My hearing aids have a remote. I keep it in my pocket when my Wife gets mad at me I just reach in my pocket and push the MUTE button until She calms down

 

I’m the early 90’s I took someone shooting. He didn’t want to wear any hearing protection which I thought odd. Later I find out he has a $3500 sound system in his $2000 car.
