You realize, in purchasing a 2.4 with less than 30k miles, that this truck will probably last longer than you...

    And your kids...

And maybe if your grand kids jump it to make a viral video it'll start to sag a bit...

This is, of course, with proper maintenance.

Your new truck looks amazing. What a find. $9500 for basically a new Toyota truck is a bargain. Way to go, OP!!

2 OUT OF 3 of my boys already got eyes on it. The youngest told me yesterday he would stick me in a crappy old folks home unless I let him drive it. :)

    Ha!
Perfect! I've had two of these, and one is now with my son. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best basic vehicle ever. Good economy, carry stuff, and no timing belt replacement. (Well, the seat is not the most comfortable.) My only recommendation is to start looking for another one.

    Ha!
Hear you on that! FWIW, I paid around the same for similar trucks, one with equally low miles but slightly dinged up. It was well worth it for the usefulness and reliability.

Well took my Taco into my local mechanic, whom I trust, he gave the truck a clean bill of health, only thing was a bit of moisture in the rear tail light. Anyone ever encounter that? I haven't looked at it yet, 10 hrs at work, then pick up the Taco, now some coffee, and I am going to take a look at the assembly.

Overall I am still happy with the find.

great truck, I bought the exact same one, but a 2003, with low miles. have not regretted it. change brake fluid in it if it hasn't been done.
