Well, I'm going under the knife tomorrow morning to get a hernia fixed. The only thing that sucks about it is that I won't be able to tinker with my Taco for several weeks ...

Better yet, get a cane and instruct others how to do it for you. If they mess up, well you've got a cane...

Hope surgery & recovery go well!

I had two hernias repaired and I sleeped all day yesterday only waking up to take my pain meds and to eat a little. Not real big on those pain meds cause I feel all drunk and loopy. I dont mind a little pain as long as I can think straight. It kind of hurts when I laugh, so it hurt a little as I was reading all of your post. I have no idea how I got them, but I've had one for about eight years. So, its about time they were fixed.
Thanks for checking on me and I feel pretty good now....Scott

Had a hernia repaired a year ago. During the surgery the doctor inserted this tube that was attached to a container that looked like a damn hand grenade. It would automaticly pump a bit of pain killer into the surgery area. It was great:thumbsup:! When it was empty, he said just pull the tube out and throw it away. Hurt worse then the surgery pullin the tube out:annoyed:. All in all, wasn't a bad experience. Good luck with the surgery and a speedy recovery.
