I'm planning to put a 2.5-3.0" OME lift on my '06 4x4 OR Doublecab and I like the Pro-Comp 7089 Wheels. I am also debating the 17x8 vs the 17x9 wheels. I want to mount 285/70/17 BFG AT KOs and I'm putting on LR UCAs.

The 17x8s would be less prone to rubbing, be less apt to pepper the side of the truck, but would not have the same stance as the 17x9s. The 17x9s give the better stance but with the 4.75" BS I'm concerned about rubbing the UCA.

I'm leaning toward the 17x9s but would like to know if any of you running these wheels and 285's have had to do much more than the typical plastic trimming. Are you rubbing the body cab mount at full lock? Any other pros / cons that I've missed?

    Thanks.
