Anyone have a good entry to mid level set of golf clubs for sale. Preferrably in the north Georgia area.

What Year model are the clubs
How many rounds of golf a month did you play on average
What is the flex of the shafts
Are the Irons 3-pw, 4-sw.. or what?
when is the last time they were re-gripped

I have 08 Taylor Made Burners and they look nothing like those clubs

I did get my set of tightlies i sold from Ebay for like 80-100$ and they ended up in great shape

I would say the craigslist item is a bit high myself. I think those are some older irons. When I bought my irons used several years back, I watched ebay for a quality set of ping irons and have been very happy with them. All I needed to do was re-grip them.

Depending on your price range, that might be a good place to start. I think I paid $325 for 3-pw, but they were in very good shape.

Ebay is nice to upgrade most other items as well. I got a matching ping zing 2 putter for under $20 and a brand new ping driver for around $60. Patience is the key.

Thanks for the info on the overpriced Taylormades! Saved me from wasting money, I think a lil lift for the truck would be money better spent anyhow...

Depending on how much golf you play check out some garge sales. I got a complete set(irons and woods) for $70 with a bag. They were Palm Springs and not the greatest but got me by for 8 years before I got rac's which are made by TaylorMade.

Ebay has some good clubs. Just have to be patient and know what you are looking for, so that you can be ready once you find them.

Get a lesson or have someone who knows what they are doing help you out. I see a lot of people practicing bad happens which eventually makes it a lot more difficult to correct. Just keep practicing and you will see improvement in just a few weeks.

Nice, I wish I had some help when I was first starting out. I swung the club like a baseball bat.

Nice. Sucks that it's only once a week. I work at a golf course so I get free golf and play all the time. It is a second job and doesn't pay much, but it sure does save me a lot of money.

Depends on the Golf Course (private or public) as far as the price for a round of golf.
