GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE GONE!!!!!

My old roommate built a sleeping platform for his 2001 Xtracab with 6' bed.

He sold his truck to his brother and he didn't want it. When we were kicked out of our house, I took the platform with me thinking that I would shorten it up to fit my 2003 double cab (short bed), but never did. Now I'm moving out of state and need to get rid of EVERYTHING.

It's either 3/4" or 1" thick nice marine plywood with carpeting glued on. One long piece for one side of the bed (from tailgate all the way to the cab) and then 3 separate pieces on the other side for easy removal to get underneath.

Sub-frame / underneath is not included as we used those 2x4's for other projects.

Did I say FREE yet? Pickup in Oakland ASAP.

I do now that it's daylight. Here are the panels all set out as they would go into the truck. TOP of the photo is the tailgate end, BOTTOM of the photo is the cab end.

The 3 smaller panels all have a circular hole in the center to stick your finger into and remove the panel to get underneath easily.

Again, I want to be clear that I do NOT have the 2x4" structure that was underneath this to support and elevate it above the wheel wells - you will need to build one.

This would also work in a 1st gen shortbed if you peel back the carpet and trim the wood some. I don't even have a shell for my truck right now so if I put it in the bed and drive with it out to CO, it would get snow, salt, etc all over it.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Thanks for thinking of me! I sleep on some padding down on the bed itself so my doggos can have the platform above me. But ill run it by the GF. She might throw a fit if she finds out i passed this up without her approval lol

And it looks like she wants it. If i can get a TW Express, ill take it!
