I'm white as snow and still short. :anonymous:

I prefer the seat spacers in the rear mounts only. That way I don't feel like I'm leaning back.

Yeah, my 6'4" buddy at 4wp drove my truck around and liked the seating arrangement/position, and I agree, tho I'm a bit shorter, some slight adjustingand I'm good. He said lots of people do it.... I see why...

Autozone has an 8-pack polyurethane shock bushings.... That's what those are... The seat isn't sitting on metal, and I like the ride. You wouldn't think it makes a difference, but try them and let me know what you think.. Maybe $20.00 spent on them, or less??
If you like the difference polyurethane body mounts make, you'll like the way these will feel. You may ha e to take a larger diameter drill bit to make them work with the seat-bolts, but they will work..... In red or black as usual....

The seat bushings are a neat idea, I'm 6'6" might give front only bushings a try.

    Have fun with the build!

Front and back... If you're tall, it just depends on the angle you want the seat to be at...

You can always unbolt all 4 seat bolts, position the bushings where you want the seat positioned and start work.... The work being if you install all 4 bushings, you'll have to drill an oval out of the factory seat holes so that the bolts can be re-installed/due to the new angle and height the bushings will leave the seat at, and after that, install bushings, start each seat screw at least 1/2 way in, then finish tightening, and you're done....

Interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the safety of that, but it's probably ok, right? :notsure:

Did it really make a difference?

Now that you mention it, I think I purchased some longer grade 8 bolts because the factory bolts not being long enough with the spacer. The longer bolts will go in as much as the factory did having the extra length...... I just checked, and they are longer bolts. Sorry I didn't catch this earlier, but thanks for mentioning it...
Safety wise. It can't be much different than a factory bolt.... I been wheeling, stopping abruptly, and zero movement from the seats....

I guess about the same difference polyurethane body-mounts would make. The thing is, metal on metal, rough. Polyurethane between metal, comforting..... Like all and any mods, you don't have to do them, and it's all about preference and differentiality, and up to you...

It's all good, no offense taken. Longer grade 8 bolts to make up the difference in the bushings, and it's just like factory, which only go in about an 1"1/2... Plusit gives you room to mount a amp underneath or something...
