What didn't work out for you with the GFC? Might want to take a small price hit, i think most would rather wait and custom order one to exactly what they want for same price.

 

You might want to scroll through some For Sale threads and see how realistic you think it is to get both the cost you have in it plus shipping back on a used item.

Hey guys I was hoping to hold off on posting in this thread as far as my experiences, but the dm's keep coming.

We picked our GFC up the last week of June and immediately took it on a cross country trip starting 6/29, and ended 7/31. Our trip consisted of 32 days 9k miles (with the gfc) and about 20ish states. The weather conditions varied from 90% humidity at 95° to 110 ish 17% humidity (highs) and in some places the lows of around 40°. We slept in storms with extreme weather warnings with wind speeds of about 25 - 30 mph and HEAVY rain without any issues (no tent leaks). We did trails with it in Colorado and Utah, but used it more as of a camper during the first half of our trip. During our trip one of the compression latches seized up. Once we brought this to gfc families attention, they overnighted a replacement ahead to wear we were going to be staying (great customer service).

The ease of use and privacy is light years ahead of any rtt we experienced previously. My wife enjoyed being able to use it as a changing room in a moment's notice and an enclosed bathroom on the side of trails.

The gfc has and is a great piece of equipment. In reviewing our trip we realized we want something larger. I camp exclusively with my wife wich means a lot more items come with me. The GFC fam stands behind their products and has been extremely flexible and attentive to ensure the customer is satisfied.

I wish you the best of luck on this sale but if for some reason this is still available in December, I was planning on order a new one then. I'd love to talk about this. That wait time is loooong, and I'd have to wait for the next desert season.
