Driving to Boston tm. It's risky as I now know my wheel bearing shot, lots of play. Unfortunately I need a truck forsythia trip....enterprise & uhaul weren't much help.

    Here's hoping I don't need aaa!

Just be aware that if that bearing heats up and welds itself to the axle you are going to be spending much more for repairs. Also the wheel locking up on the highway may not be much fun either... Esp after the resulting wreck. I hope you do not cause injury to others on the road.

Been here with my Civic on the highway. That was one hell of a ride let me tell you. Lucky for me no other cars were around when it happened.

so your driving a vehicle, probably on the highway, that needs work and is a danger to yourself and others. Gotcha. Note to self: stay off the mass turnpikes tomorrow

Here is a tip, don't drive your truck and Possibly hurt others knowing you have something wrong. Fix it.

I'd advise you stay off the road and get your truck repaired.

In Oregon, and in pretty much every other state, there is something called "criminal negligence." Read it and understand it. If you decide to knowingly and intentionally take your truck out on the road, and someone besides you gets hurt or killed due to your wheel bearing locking up... that's on you. You may be held CRIMINALLY liable for your actions.

X2 on criminal negligence. Since you made this thread, there is now a proven document stating that you knew about your trucks problem and still drove it knowing the dangers. :ohsnap:
