So i finally got a can of the VHT Niteshades and im gonna smoke my tails tomorrow, I have a few questions and i want to make sure i have the steps down right.

First take the TL's off, wash them then i have some 1000 grit SP that im gonna wet sand them until they are dull.

Then wash them again to get them clean, then spray 1 coat let it dry and the another coat and let it dry ( Im gonna do 2 or 3 havent decided yet).

After that then clear coat with 3 or 4 layers.

After that last step i dont know what to do, do i wet sand again?? Also ive heard of people using a "rubing compound" wtf is that and do i need it?

Please help me with the last steps so i dont F#$K this up

after the clear, do a light wet sand, then rub in a rubbing compound and buff it off. it will restore the shine to the clear after the wet sand. just make sure u do thin layers of the niteshades when u apply it

You can buy the buffing compound at checker or any auto store. Turtle wax makes it and its in a little white container.
