Erik Larson books are a really good read. Historical nonfiction that seriously read like a great fiction book.

Clive cussler also has a bunch of good quick reads

Depending on what you're into, "eat like a fish" by been Smith was a really good read.

Of course the Dune Series was awesome.

And the books co authored by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child were really really good. Namely, the pendergast novels.

If you're into "where did we come from" type stuff (biologically and chemically speaking) "the vital question" by Nick lane was a really good read.

There's some to get you started. That should last you a little while.

agreed! enjoy most of the series that are under his name and like the crossover they'll do between different ones.

currently working on a series by David Archer (Noah Wolfe series) and Bradley King has some good ones too. Found some gems with Kindle unlimited.

Since this all has started I've been reading:

    - The Wheel of Time Series (i'm currently on book 4)
    - Dune (in preparation for the upcoming movie remake)
    - Real Estate study materials (trying to get my RE license for side hustling)
    - CISSP study book material

DB78C566-DB97-4E44-9B99-1D0A276B8222.jpg First off, full disclaimer, this book has some gruesome parts, however; I recommend reading it if the southern Utah/Northern AZ area piques your interest. I was down that way for about a month backpacking/camping this summer while nose deep in it. Guarantee you will come away with a history lesson or two with the added bonus of a few places to check out.

Definitely is. Too bad the local PBS station only plays it during Pledge Drives, but I bought it on dvd a few years back.
